Desert Awakening is a 5-day immersive retreat set in the awe-inspiring landscapes of Moab, Utah.

Program & Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Grounding
- 4:30 PM – Check-in
- 5:30 PM – Welcome Circle + Yin Yoga
- 6:30 PM – Dinner (vegan)
- 8:00 PM – Quiet evening activities (games, hot tub, rest)


Day 2: Scenic Hike + Reflection
- 7:00 AM – Morning Vinyasa Yoga
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast
- 9:00 AM – Depart for scenic hike in the Moab region
- 12:30 PM – Lunch on trail
- 2:00 PM – Free time (optional visit to Moab town or quiet rest)
- 5:30 PM – Yin Yoga
- 6:30 PM – Dinner
- 8:00 PM – Quiet evening activities (games, hot tub, rest)


Day 3: River Rafting Adventure
- 7:00 AM – Morning Vinyasa Yoga
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast
- 9:30 AM – Depart for Colorado River rafting experience
- 5:30 PM – Yin Yoga
- 6:30 PM – Dinner
- 8:00 PM – Quiet evening activities (games, hot tub, rest)


Day 4: Scenic Hike + Closing
- 7:00 AM – Morning Vinyasa Yoga
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast
- 9:00 AM – Depart for second Moab-region hike
- 1:00 PM – Lunch at retreat home
- 2:00 PM – Free time (optional visit to Moab town or quiet rest)
- 5:30 PM – Yin Yoga 
- 6:30 PM – Celebration Dinner + Closing Reflection
- 8:00 PM – Quiet evening activities (games, hot tub, rest)


Day 5: Integration & Farewell
- 7:30 AM – Gratitude Yoga
- 8:30 AM – Breakfast
- 10:00 AM – Check-out + Departures

Food:

• All meals are included from Wednesday dinner through Sunday breakfast
• Pack lunch for outdoor activities.
• All meals are plant-based, prepared with love by a local vegan chef
• Vegetarian options available by request
• Tea, coffee, and water served all day

How To Get There (Flights, Airport Transfers/Uber/Rental Car)

• Nearest airports: Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT – ~2 hr drive), Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC – ~4 hr drive)
• Car rentals are recommended. Airport shuttle services may be available but limited. We will do our best to coordinate car pool.
• Parking available on site.

Additional Info About The Retreat

- Be respectful of roommates, neighbors, including indoor and outside noise levels
- No alcohol, smoking cigarettes, cigars, marijuana or any drugs during the retreat

What To Bring:

• Yoga mat + blocks will be provided. Feel free to bring your favorite yoga mat.
• Hiking/Trail Running shoes for hiking
• Hiking backpack + water bottles
• All-weather layers: shorts, long sleeves, jacket, rain gear
• Yoga clothing (light, breathable layers)
• Swimsuit (optional creek dip)
• Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat
• Headlamp (optional)
• Personal headphones (no external speakers)
• Any medications or special dietary items

Weather & Activities:

• Expect warm, sunny days with average highs between 75°F -85°F

• Cooler nights in the mid-50s°F

• Low humidity and strong sun: bring sunscreen, a hat, and layers for shifting temperatures between morning, midday, and evening. 

Cancellation Policy

• Deposit: 15% (non-refundable)
• The rest of the payment paid before 30 days of the retreat.
• No refunds within 30 days.
