A beach flying holiday!
Rainbow Beach is 1.5 hours from Coolum or 3.5 hours from Brisbane.
Flying: Minutes away from the camping ground is the world renowned site of "Carlo Sand Blow", the desert next to the ocean! Soar over 14 kilometres of sand dunes, sharing the air with the local sea eagles! This site is great for beginners to practice manouevers but also excellent for intermediate to advanced pilots as it is the perfect place to practice advanced manoeuvres such as wing overs etc. The scenery will blow your mind, crystal clear waters abundant with sea life, sandy white beaches and the awesome coloured sands, you will never want to come down!
Meals: BBQ breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit and toast) and evening meal -BBQ of course! (Fish, meats, salads and soft drinks)
Tent accommodation: Camping right near the beach in comfortable 2 or 4 man dome tents. Hear the ocean as you go to sleep, wake up and go for a morning swim! Or if camping is not your thing, there are heaps of other accomodation options available in Rainbow beach.
Site-seeing trips: Visit world famous coloured sands, national parks or if time allows Fraser Island! Swimming, walking or fishing - too hard too choose!

Long weekends on magnificent Teewah Beach!
Teewah Beach is just north of Noosa, it can only be reached by 4WD.
It is only 35 minutes from Coolum/Noosa and perfect for a short stay!
Travel by beach up to the camp and flying site on the sand highway!
Flying:Unbelievable views of endless beaches, 34 kilometres long and amazing clear waters. Pilots are able to watch the "hustle and bustle" of Noosa from a unique perspective. Coastal soaring at its best, suited to all levels of pilots.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner to suit your tastes. Could include, BBQ's -Aussie style, fresh fruits, delicious sandwiches and drinks.
Tent accommodation: Camping right on the beach in comfortable 2 or 4 man dome tents. Hear the ocean as you go to sleep, wake up and go for a morning swim!
Site-seeing trips: Horse riding on the beach and in the water, watching the sun rise or set with a picnic lunch! A local company offers this and more. For something a bit different try a Camel trek through the national park and finish up with morning or afternoon tea! there is plenty of beach to satisfy the avid walker swimmer or fisher person! Bring your camera!

Hinterland Cross Country Escapes
The Sunshine Coast Hinterland is situated just 45 minutes drive from Coolum or Noosa. It has been likened to a small "European village" atmosphere, with is green rolling hills and tiny villages. The views span to the ocea
n and are definitely worth seeing.
Flying: Epic cross country potential, intermediate to advanced pilots. Pilot retrievals can be arranged.
Meals: Picnic lunch and drinks supplied.
Accommodation: Not included, but camping is available at Coolum Beach Caravan Park from $18 per site per night, or

For your information: the area is packed with things to do for non flyers. Enjoy the best of the hinterland with Winery tours (5 to choose from), shopping and gourmet lunches in Montville or Maleny and local craft markets. Bush walking and swimming in of of the three National parks.
